Funny how I see this color combo and think of Lucy Lawless wearing a pleated leather skirt.

This is a 16 plait 3 foot snake whip featuring a short section of the rare 2 seam pattern. I considered putting in some Egyptian Eyes, but the patterns did not mesh well. The end knot is a 5×4 pineapple knot of three passes and doubled interweave. I am considering a Herringbone knot. Where the pineapple knot has the zig-zag perpendicular to the core of the whip, Herringbone knot will look the same but have an additional loop at the extremes of the knot. A Gaucho knot would have the zig-zag parallel to the core of the whip. Maybe on the next one…
